Perhaps the most graceful and beautiful jet flying today is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. In my painting, “On the Wings of Meili” a Norse Atlantic Airways Dreamliner begins a North Atlantic Crossing from Oslo to New York. Below is the dramatic snow covered Fjords that dot the Norwegian coast.
In Norse mythology the God Meili is the brother of Thor son Of Oden. Meili is the God of travel and his name litterally translates into the term, ‘The Miles Stepper.’ This painting was commissioned by Rolls-Royce and presented to Norse Atlantic Airways. Norse power’s their 787 fleet with Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.
